[Hilda most certainly isn't going to argue with Itto carrying her things to their bedroom. She's prone to hoisting physical labor off on him even when she's not exhausted and jet lagged from traveling, and that she doesn't even have to ask him is even better.]

[She pulls him down just enough to plant a kiss on his cheek, then releases him and goes to flop on the couch. Ushi immediately joins her, and she quickly snaps a photo of him and posts an 'I'm home!' message to her social media accounts before setting her phone aside with all intents of not touching it again for the evening.

There are more important things to do, like wrapping her arms around Ushi and cuddling with him while she waits for Itto to join them in the living room.]

[If it were possible for a person to radiate sunshine, Itto very nearly does exactly that when she plants a kiss against his cheek— aside from a little awkward fumbling on his part in the beginning, he's never been shy about his absolute adoration of her, and the life they've made together is one that suits him surprisingly well. He supports her career in full, but welcoming her home is always the best part of these business trips.

He picks up her luggage effortlessly, hoisting one of the bags over his shoulder as he proceeds to carry them off to the bedroom to be dealt with later— not like they're going anywhere, and there's no hurry to get things unpacked. Once he's done, he heads right towards the living room where he knows Ushi will have already helped to make Hilda comfortable, proceeding to throw himself down on the sofa beside her with, perhaps, a little more enthusiasm than is necessary.]

Aw, look at that— he's real glad you're back, too. Who's a good boy?

[His tone of voice shifts as he leans in to scratch Ushi beneath the chin with one finger, then shoots Hilda a knowing grin.]

You bring me anything this time?

[Does Hilda take a moment to ogle her boyfriend as he carries away her luggage? She most certainly does. Can't blame a girl for finding such a feat of athleticism (not to mention his body) attractive, now can you?

Itto's back in a matter of minutes, which is about what she expects. She'll unpack tomorrow, or maybe the day after. Tonight is about her and her two boys. One of whom is a dog. But he's like their son, so close enough.]

Of course he's glad I'm back. I am the superior cuddler out of the two of us.

[She kisses Ushi's head as Itto scritches under his chin. She's rewarded with thumping to her side as he wags his tail without consideration of what (or who) it might hit.]

[They both know he can hardly let a comment about superiority of any kind slide without making some kind of comment, but he laughs openly, his spirits utterly unhindered as they both see to Ushi's immediate needs. Itto would be jealous, but he knows once Ushi is sated, he'll get plenty of attention of his own.

His question had only been half-serious, but his heavy eyebrows shoot upwards at her answer, his grin pulling wider.]

Ha! The boys showed up? Good ol' Arataki Gang! They were polite, yeah?

[Look, they may brand themselves online as "delinquents," but you have to treat a lady right!]

[Her scolding is not at all serious, barely coming out without a warm giggle of her own. Of course he can't let any challenge go unanswered--it's part of the reason she said it in the first place. Some might call it predictable and mean it negatively, but she likes the familiar patterns they've fallen into.]

Of course they were. Best group of delinquents a girl can ask for.

[They're really bad at being delinquents, by her measure. Mostly they're just reckless and excitable, more concerned with creating a space of understanding for themselves than actually getting into trouble. It's charming, honestly.

Ushi decides that he's done with being pet for now and hops down to do some other doggy thing, so Hilda takes the opportunity to scoot closer to him.]

[Itto grins broadly at the opportunity to put an arm around her shoulders as she moves closer, giving her a tug to gather her against his side. Thanks, Ushi— you're a real pal!]

[That challenge, however, still stands, and he dips his head to put himself at eye-level with her, his grin still wide and toothy, eyes alight with mischief.]

[Hilda returns his wide grin with one of her own. Does she know exactly what she's doing with this challenge?

[He is, for better or for worse, all too easy to manipulate, especially when it comes to Hilda, but in this case, they're heading in an inevitable direction. He laughs, and the sound is sharp and confident as he leans forward and reaches forward to grab the top of the couch over her shoulder, clearly rising to the bait.]

Oh, yeah, easy.

[Especially given that she's been gone— he has to show her how much he'd missed her, right?]
